Savage opens new transload location in Iowa’s Quad Cities area

Savage has opened its newest Trans Load Facility (TLF) for bulk material handling and rail transloading services in Davenport IA. Located in the heart of the Quad Cities, the TLF is uniquely positioned to serve this region by rail. Savage has extensive experience transloading, managing logistics and operating rail terminals that handle multiple commodities.

This new Savage operation benefits from TLF’s 10 acres of property. The TLF has direct access to the CP Class 1 rail line and offers more than 20 railcar spots and 20,000 square feet of indoor warehousing with indoor railcar and truck loading/unloading. Savage’s transload services include the handling, loading, and distribution of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
