PSI-branded hoses deliver maximum air

When replacing the valve stem connection hoses on the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI (Pressure Systems International), it is recommended that the proprietary MTIS hose be used to maximize the performance of the system. The PSI hose delivers 95% of available air pressure to the tires. The amount of air carried to the tire is critical to the performance of MTIS. Keeping a maximum flow of air from the automatic inflation system to the tires ensures that the recommended air pressure set by the fleet is maintained during operation.

PSI has added clearly identifiable markings to the flexible valve stem connection hoses of the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI, including a yellow stripe and the PSI name so they can be clearly recognized as MTIS hoses. Other hoses sold as will-fit replacements may not conform to the quality criteria set by Pressure Systems International and may not offer the same performance as MTIS hoses.

A video clearly demonstrates the differences in the amount of air pressure flowing through a MTIS hose and an aftermarket replacement hose.
