McLeod Software has completed the integration of the 22nd annual upgrade of PC*MILER from ALK Technologies Inc. The latest versions of ALK's routing, mileage and mapping software systems provide enhanced capabilities for McLeod's LoadMaster IX and PowerBroker II transportation management systems.

PC*MILER 22 includes an update of map data related to truck restrictions, including an 84 percent increase in truck-restricted roadway and a 159 percent increase in the number of truck restrictions and allowances.

McLeod's transportation management systems include a strategic series of enhancements. New operational capabilities incorporated into PowerBroker II are designed to increase workflow speed and enable brokers to access real-time data necessary to make more informed decisions. A key enhancement to PowerBroker II is a new Brokerage Web Portal incorporated into the system's Internet Module that will streamline and speed the load-matching process for brokers and carriers alike. Similarly, LoadMaster IX now provides an exclusive option for keyword searching of a client's database for easy access to needed information, enhancements designed to address the needs of multi-company operations, and several other advanced features, including new EDI capabilities.
