Shell recognizes Texas TransEastern for outstanding safety practices

June 16, 2015

Texas TransEastern (TTE) recently received the Goal Zero Performance Award from Shell Oil at the Shell Downstream Americas Road Safety Forum. TTE was one of eight carriers in North America to receive the 2015 Goal Zero Performance Award.

The award was given for exceptional performance and safety practice this past year, recognizing motor carriers that went accident, injury, and spill free in 2014 while transporting Shell commodities. Goal Zero is an initiative that was begun by Shell as a way to encourage a strong culture of safety in Shell’s employees and contractors.

“I am so proud of my team for this award,” said JJ Isbell, president of TTE. “At the heart of Texas TransEastern is a commitment to continually improving our safety standards. This recognition speaks to that commitment, and is evidence of our employees’ hard work.”

Kenneth Cloninger with Shell Oil said: “It does not surprise me at all that TTE won a Shell Goal Zero Performance Award. I’ve witnessed TTE’s true dedication to safety over the past 26 years. Congratulations.”
