OTL-UPT presents professionalism awards

Five members of Oklahoma Tank Lines/United Petroleum Transports (OTL-UPT) were nominated for the Oklahoma Trucking Association 2010 Driver of the Year award with John Hill from Tulsa receiving the award, according to Greg Price, OTL-UPT president and chief executive officer.

Five members of Oklahoma Tank Lines/United Petroleum Transports (OTL-UPT) were nominated for the Oklahoma Trucking Association 2010 Driver of the Year award with John Hill from Tulsa receiving the award, according to Greg Price, OTL-UPT president and chief executive officer.

“John Hill exemplifies the professionalism and performance essential to OTL-UPT and the motoring public. Mr Hill has been associated with OTL-UPT for 16 of his 27 year career, and we’re very proud of him,” said Price.

Hill is a previous nominee for the Driver of the Year Award in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.

The other nominees included: Carl Andrew (Oklahoma City), Ron Woody (Oklahoma City), Michael Lemley (Oklahoma City), and Ray Emory (Tulsa).

Also honored were Jimmy Henson, One Million Mile Driver; and Larry Fluman, Ron Woody, and Carl Andrew as Two Million Mile Drivers.

Randy Decker of Oklahoma City was named as 2010 Facility Supervisor of the Year.

OTL received the Fleet Safety Award (Petroleum) for more than 5 million accident-free miles.
