Feb. 15, 2017

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association is looking forward to working with Linda McMahon as the newly appointed leader of the Small Business Administration. The US Senate confirmed her appointment with a vote of 81-19, and she was sworn in February 14.

“More than 90% of trucking is made up of small businesses,” said OOIDA executive vice-president, Todd Spencer. “Our hope going forward is to have more recognition and appreciation for the unique contributions that small-business truckers add to the prosperity of the United States and the economy.”
