Oakley Transportation Group, Lake Wales FL, has opened new terminal locations in Savannah GA, Charlotte NC, and the Chicago IL area. The locations are in partnership with Quala, which operates the largest network of commercial tank truck wash racks across the United States.

Oakley’s presence in Savannah, Charlotte, and the Chicago area, within existing and new Quala locations, will allow the foodgrade carrier to more quickly respond to customer needs as well as serve as local hubs for bulk tank professionals to ensure more home time and shorter routes. In each location Oakley staff will include a customer service manager and driver manager and serve as the hub for approximately 30 bulk tank professionals.

Oakley is hiring for all positions, according to Oakley Transport officials. Those interested in applying should visit www.OakleyLovesDrivers.com.

Oakley Transport will lease office and equipment space, while it’s drivers can enjoy Quala’s amenities and service on site, including lounge facilities, assistance to over-the-road drivers, and special events and activities--all of which Oakley values and recognizes as important to the health and happiness of its team members.

“As a family-owned and run company, we want to do what’s best for our bulk tank professionals, and that includes operating from locations closer to home--their home--which better serves our customers.” said Tommy Oakley Sr, chief executive officer of Oakley Transport Inc.

Terry O'Brien, president of Quala, said: “We know it is critical in today's operating environment to do everything we can to take care of our customers' drivers. We know that we play a role in helping to ensure driver sustainability. We understand that driver sustainability must be as important to the cleaning facility as it is to the fleet. We are an extension of our customers. If they succeed, we succeed.”

In addition to driver support, Oakley Transport will work with Quala to write new and expanded quality assurance policies for foodgrade cleaning, which would be used for Oakley as well as the organization’s other business and transportation clients.

“Quality assurance is at the forefront of our business and we ensure that our partners share the same expectation and dedication,” Oakley said. “Having written guidelines for foodgrade tanker cleaning at a national level, we understand the importance of what we’re hauling, as it will eventually end up in your home and mine to feed our families.”
