The company runs Peterbilt tractors and Heil tank trailers in the United States. Chevron’s worldwide fleet stands at about 500 vehicles and about 115 are based in the United States. Drivers and other employees at Transportes Barahona in Comayagua, Honduras, stand with some of the newest tractors in the fleet. The petroleum fleet won Chevron’s “Global Carrier of the Year” award in 2007. The carrier recorded zero motor vehicle crashes, zero injuries, zero spills, and zero mixes.
