CB&I has been awarded a contract, valued in excess of US $190 million, for two LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage tanks associated with a major liquefaction project in the Asia Pacific region. CB&I’s scope of work includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction of two 160,000-cubic-meter LNG storage tanks. This project, which was awarded in the third quarter, is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
