Wilden launches new parts kit program

Oct. 28, 2014

Wilden, part of Dover Corporation’s Pump Solutions Group (PSG) and a worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, has launched a new parts kit program designed to speed delivery, significantly lower costs, and simplify ordering while providing genuine Wilden parts. The updated repair kits are part of Wilden’s ongoing innovation and new technologies program to improve performance, customer satisfaction and value.

“The new parts kit program is in direct response to feedback from our channel partners, and we are excited to be providing them with a simplified, lower cost solution for repairing their genuine Wilden AODD pumps,” said Carl Glauber, diaphragm pump product manager for Wilden. “Not only are the new repair kits up to 40% less expensive and feature faster delivery times than prior versions, but the new kits also eliminate parts duplication--reducing waste and drastically simplifying the repair process.”

The new Wilden repair kits are available in either a Wet Kit or Air Kit, and can be applied to many different pump models to substantially reduce the number of kits required to cover Wilden’s products and simplify ordering (kit variations have been reduced by more than 60%).

The new Wet Kit replaces the Elastomer Kit and includes only elastomers located on the wet side of the pump such as diaphragms, balls, seats, gaskets and O-rings (if required). The Air Kit replaces the ADS Kit and contains a reduced number of parts, eliminating the air valve assembly and muffler plate. All Air Kits will include the air valve spool--which must be replaced when repairing the Air Distribution System (ADS)--and are vacuum-sealed to maintain the parts integrity and cleanliness.
