Quala, a North America leader in sustainable container solutions, announced the addition of commercial waste water treatment and disposal as a new business segment at many of its locations.
"Adding commercial waste water treatment and disposal is a strategic move for us as we continue to add and diversify our lines of business," says Mike Bauer, Quala chief executive officer. "Adding this service at many of our locations will help us maximize our value at both existing and prospective customers to satisfy our growing customer base's expanding market needs. The company has experienced significant growth since 2009 and I expect to see that pattern continue. This new service will be well positioned to create value for our customers and stakeholders."
Quala's waste water management program encompasses a broad range of efforts that promote effective and responsible wastewater treatment and disposal, as well as the encouragement of the protection and restoration of our nation's watersheds. All waste water generated from an internal or external cleaning operation is pretreated and discharged in accordance with the Clean Water Act and in full compliance with the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and local Publicly Owned Treatment Works. Additionally, any waste water collected or transported off-site is done so in full compliance with applicable regulations. Management stresses that Quala will always adhere to the most environmentally sound waste water procedures.
Quala currently offers commercial waste water treatment and disposal at Atlanta GA, Baton Rouge LA, Parker PA, and Vancouver WA. Quala plans to open commercial waste water treatment and disposal locations in Charlotte NC, Houston TX, Neenah WI, Saraland AL, and Shreveport LA.
