Lakeshore Railcar & Tanker Services LLC , a subsidiary of Patriot Rail Company LLC, recently acquired the assets of Tanker Services Inc, a subsidiary of United Transportation Group (UTG). The facility, specializing in tank truck and railcar cleaning, is located in East Chicago IN approximately 20 miles southeast of downtown Chicago IL.
Easily accessible from major expressways I-80/94 and I-90, the 34-acre logistics complex includes a chemical tank wash rack that cleans both liquid and dry bulk trailers containing most non-foodgrade commodities. In addition to tank truck cleaning, the facility offers rail tankcar washes, transloading, light maintenance for trucks and trailers, and third party wastewater treatment services.
