West Memphis Transload LLC acquires Arkansas Logistics

West Memphis Transload LLC, a company formed and operated by Base Inc, Jaguar Investments Inc, and Arkansas Logistics LLC, has acquired the assets and transloading business, located in West Memphis AR from Arkansas Logistics LLC.  The facility will be operated in conjunction with the new bulk transfer facility currently under construction on the adjacent property. 

The joint operations are capable of handling various types of commodities including but not limited to steel coils, rail road ties, lumber, agricultural products, and various commodities via containers.  The facility is directly connected to the Friday-Graham Railway which is switched daily by the Union Pacific.

Base owns and operates two transload facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma that currently handle various foodgrade commodities, paraffins, coal, pipe, and hazardous materials. In addition, Base owns and operates two cold storage facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma with more than 120,000 square feet of freezer space and approximately 170,000 square feet of cold (climate controlled) space.
