Labelmaster offers MSDS to SDS service

April 23, 2014

Labelmaster has expanded its Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) HCS/GHS offering to include an easy, hassle-free MSDS to SDS conversion service, removing the time-consuming burden from chemical manufacturers’ internal staff.

Petrochemical, pharmaceutical, paints, and coatings companies and others involved in chemical manufacturing, in addition to importers, distributors, and employers, must comply with all OSHA GHS modified provisions by June 1, 2015 as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200.

Converting to the new GHS-based SDS format is a complex task, requiring new pictograms, terminology and 16 sections calling for specific chemical information. Labelmaster’s new offering eliminates many of the headaches from the process of transferring information from MSDS requirements into the new SDS format for chemical producers.

The MSDS to SDS conversion is a pay-as-you-go, cost-effective service offering a quick turnaround time, and a meticulous quality assurance process. It provides trade secret confidentiality.
