The National Tank Truck Carriers Inc (NTTC) announced that Candi Coate, director of safety & regulatory compliance at K-Limited Carrier Ltd, was elected chairwoman of the NTTC Safety & Security Council during the Safety & Security Council Annual Meeting held June 20-22 in Nashville TN. Coate succeeds Griff Odgers, senior vice-president of Safety at Andrews Logistics.
“Congratulations to Candi in her new leadership role within the council,” said NTTC President Dan Furth. “Candi’s election capped one of our most successful safety programs ever, and I look forward to working with her, the full Council, and our Driver of the Year Todd Stine as we collectively give voice to our safety mission.”
Coate has been responsible for all things safety and regulatory for the last four plus years at K-Limited Carrier. She has also acted as the Eastern Region Safety Councilwoman for NTTC since 2015. Previous to K-Limited, Candi spent over 17 years in the chemical industry in various roles.
