Trimac Transportation recently decided to implement an average 11-percent pay increase in the Southeast for company drivers and owner-operators.

Owner-operators will now make $1.72 per loaded mile for loads over 250 miles round trip. Trimac’s fuel surcharge is paid on all miles, loaded and empty, in the United States. This pay increase aligns with Trimac's commitment to be an industry leader in driver satisfaction and builds upon the best-in-class benefits already provided, which include sick days and paid holidays and vacation in the first year.

Founded in 1945, Trimac Transportation consistently achieves industry leadership with a proven safety culture, recently being recognized by National Tank Truck Carriers as the Grand Award winner in the injury frequency category for the over-90-million-mile group.

At Trimac, it is important to have all drivers come home safely to their families at the end of every shift, by living the Trimac safety commitments: Trimac makes safety a part of every decision, it makes safety personal and has the courage to intervene.
