Wabash National Corporation, a diversified industrial manufacturer and North America’s leading producer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems, received a 2016 Golden Handshake Award from the Supplier Diversity Development Coalition of Greater Lafayette (IN) for “exhibiting diversity and excellence.”
Wabash National works with approximately 450 Indiana suppliers and supports more than 75 small businesses, including veteran-, minority- and woman-owned businesses.
“We’re honored to be recognized by the Supplier Diversity Development Coalition,” said Nicholas Adler, vice-president of global strategic sourcing at Wabash National. “More importantly, I thank the coalition members and all of our supplier partners for their collaboration as we continue to work together to develop diverse local businesses and support economic growth in our communities.”
Adler and Wabash National President and COO Brent Yeagy accepted the award at the Coalition’s annual Relationships to Partnerships Sessions on November 18 in Lafayette IN.
The Greater Lafayette Supplier Diversity Coalition encourages diversity and creative solutions that result in long-term partnerships between small diverse businesses and larger members of the Greater Lafayette business community.
