Truck Repair Network (TRN) is celebrating its tenth anniversary by expanding service levels and inaugurating a new web site at www.helprig.com. Breakdown services are available instantly using online enrollment. Enrolling in this service is free of charge, but fleets are asked to enroll in advance.
TRN has streamlined its dispatch and customer service areas. In conjunction with a vendor database update, it has expanded its independent tire dealer network. The company also introduced its “breakdown now” service, which is accessible through the web site. This lets drivers communicate directly from their truck via computer terminal to TRN's emergency call center. This has the advantage of pinpointing a disabled vehicle using satellite coordinates.
The emergency response center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
