Carrier411 Services Inc provides a web-based service that enables transportation brokers and shippers to qualify and monitor trucking companies for insurance, operating authority, carrier safety ratings, and SafeStat scores.
Already in use by a number of TMW customers with freight brokerage businesses, Carrier411 offers fax, e-mail, and online information and alerts about motor carrier credential changes. While many transportation brokers still rely on a faxed copy of the carrier's operating authority and insurance certificate, the manual process of monitoring insurance and authority status can be paper-intensive and time-consuming.
