Peterbilt has introduced hydraulic brakes for the Class 6 Model 330. This truck features an aluminum, corrosion-resistant cab, a 50§ wheel cut, a sloped hood and superior serviceability features. The new configuration features a Bosch hydraulic braking system and is standard with Dana Spicer axles. The I80S front axle is rated at 8,000 pounds, and the 19060S rear axle is rated at 19,000 pounds.

The Class 6 Model 330 is offered with the Caterpillar 3126B with ratings ranging from 190 to 300 horsepower. Available transmissions include Eaton Fuller's 5406, 6406, and 8406 family. The new SPL100 driveshaft system includes permanently sealed/lubed slip member assemblies, enhanced U-joints with bearing seals, and bearing retention features.

New 19.5-inch low-profile tires and wheels are available when specified with hydraulic brakes. This contributes to a lower cab floor for easier entry/egress and a low frame height for body installations ranging from dry vans to flatbeds.
