Missouri biodiesel plant on drawing board

The northwest section of Missouri will soon be home to an Ag Processing Inc (AGP) soy biodiesel plant, according to information from the National Biodiesel Board.

The northwest section of Missouri will soon be home to an Ag Processing Inc (AGP) soy biodiesel plant, according to information from the National Biodiesel Board.

The St Joseph MO facility will be located at the industrial site where the AGP cooperative currently operates a soybean crushing plant and a vegetable oil refinery.

The facility, scheduled to become operational in the fall of 2007, will have a 28 mmgy capacity, and employ approximately 25 people, according to AGP.

AGP has another biodiesel plant in Sergeant Bluff IA that is currently undergoing expansion.
