Dana Corp has realigned two divisions of its Commercial Vehicle Systems strategic business unit.

One division will focus on global commercial vehicle service parts. It will conduct business as the new Commercial Vehicle Service Parts Division, integrating global parts and marketing functions under one banner. The Commercial Vehicle Service Parts Division, formerly Drivetrain Service Division, combines elements of drivetrain and undercarriage components including Spicer drive, steer, and trailer axles; brakes, driveshafts; universal joint kits; end yokes; wheel ends; and related parts.

Dana also has reorganized a division of Commercial Vehicle Systems to target needs of original equipment manufacturers and commercial vehicle fleets. Formerly the Spicer Trailer Products Division, the new Ride & Control Systems Division will provide components, modules, systems and services to enhance steering, acceleration, brake, and ride control to the on-highway commercial vehicle market. The division is responsible for steer, trailer, and auxiliary axles; brakes; wheel ends; tire pressure management products; suspensions; and modular systems.

The Ride & Control Systems Division is located in Kalamazoo MI in the Commercial Vehicle Technology Center, which also houses the Commercial Vehicle Axle Division.
