The Cooperative Hazardous Materials Education (COHMED) group has scheduled its fall training conference for October 14-18 at the Sheraton Braintree Hotel in Braintree MA. Seminars and workshops will cover a variety of topics, including hazardous materials regulations, enforcement, emergency planning and preparedness, training, and response.
Attending the meeting will be representatives of the Canadian, Mexican, and US federal, state/provincial, and local governments, and the transportation industry.
COHMED is an outreach activity of the Department of Transportation’s Office of Hazardous Materials.
