Hendrickson introduces the Cam Tube System, a standard cam enclosure for trailer brake systems on Intraax and Vantraax suspensions. Plans call for installation of the patent-pending Cam Tube System as standard equipment on all Intraax and Vantraax systems beginning in spring 2001. This enhancement comes with no additional charge.

The Cam Tube System fits 16.5" × 7" and 8⅛" brakes and is compatible with standard and HXS brakes on Intraax and Vantraax suspension-axle-brake systems.

The self-contained cam tube extends life of brake camshafts and bushings to match long-life HXS brake linings and hub assemblies. The Cam Tube System locks out contamination of the S-cam, cam seals, and bushings. For full details, contact Hendrickson, 800 S Frontage Rd, Woodridge IL 60517-4904.
