Rose Manufacturing Company displayed systems and components for climbing protection, work positioning, fall arrest, and rescue and evacuation for industrial work safety at heights and in confined spaces.

Full-body harnesses are primary components of personal fall arrest systems. The Pullover, Vestype, andTradesman harnesses are designed to contain the torso, position it in an upright position, and distribute fall arrest forces to the sub-pelvic area in the event of a fall.

The company also manufactures a self-retracting lanyard with an emergency lifting and lowering feature for confined-space and personal fall arrest systems. The device has a 4.5 foot-per-second locking speed and a built-in shock absorber that limits fall arrest forces to less than 900 pounds-foot. It has an average lifting speed of 25 feet per minute.
