Jerry E Beall, chairman of Beall Corp, a Portland OR-based family-owned trailer manufacturer, has announced that the Beall family will celebrate 100 years of continuous operation in May 2005.

In the early 1900s, Beall's great-uncle John S Beall moved to Portland from Texas and became involved in road machinery sales. In 2004, Beall was named the fourth-largest bulk tank manufacturer in the United States and the largest west of the Mississippi River. The corporation employs more than 550 workers.

“Beall Corporation now has five manufacturing factories and 11 sales branches across the United States,” said Beall. “We produce aluminum tanks and trailers, pneumatics, bottom dumps, end dumps, and dump bodies. We also feature a full line of heavy-duty parts and service at our facilities located throughout the West.

“We are also excited to introduce our new Silver Lining Beall Customer Rewards Program,” said Beall. “Silver Lining will let our customers earn big discounts on new Beall products and services, as well as quality merchandise. It's a first in our industry, and we're proud to roll it out on our 100-year anniversary.”
